Sadly they aren't far enough apart when trying to tie down the handlebars of a motorcycle. Or hardly anything else for that matter

Kind of wish I had an access cab with the foot longer bed. Rarely does anyone ride in the back of my double cab. I use the bed far more often and wish the bed was longer. Also would like heated leather seats

Agreed about the bed bolt D-ring add on. Only problem.....14 yo truck, bolts won't break loose.

36" breaker bar, T-55 Torx bit, many applications of PB Blaster over many weeks.......Bolt head began to round out....stopped.

The truck will go into the dealer for service one day, I'll have them break the bolts loose and replace them.

Impact gun would probably break them loose, but that tool is not in my tool box.

<edit> Please don't use the bike's handle bars as tie down points. Use the lower triple tree. Handle bars are generally only held on with 4 small bolts and a pair of aluminum clamps. The triple tree is directly connected to the bike frame and front suspension. Much stronger tie down point.

I'm on board with the diesel engine. Real trucks don't have spark plugs.

If only it didn't have to have all the emissions BS all the modern diesel owners have to deal with...

I’ve used canyon dancers with great results but they distribute the weight different than just tying to a clip on handlebar

I always thought this would be cool.

I wish I had the ability to turn off my mandatory DTRL’s like on the 13+

I also wish there were more solid tie downs at the front of the bed.

The canyon dancer has also worked well for me in the past but I prefer the soft ties around the lower triple when I can make it work.

No doubt lower triple is ideal but a lot of times with fairings they will be in the way.

I didn't say anything about semis. lol... There's plenty of small and medium displacement diesels. I have an 02 alh tdi jetta w/285k on the clock that gets 50+ mpg. It also tows 2 track bikes at 100 with ease. My pos 7.3 extended van tows 10k lbs and has 250k on it. Guess I just love the oil burners.

True. A wheel chock like a Baxley paired with a canyon dancer works great without having to put much pressure on the bars too.

Would be great if they would leave emissions out of it. DEF is a fucking pain. They put this shit in emergency response vehicles so if shit goes real bad your fire truck goes into limp mode. Garbage

4wd shift lever vs switch. Have the lever on my FJ Cruiser, it’s preferable over the switch.

Yep, this all the time. Trying to go triple tree with a fairing you damage the fairing/bend stuff. I'll typically only go handlebars on a bike with solid bars, not clip ons. I've done wheel chock and to the neck of the bike before when there were no handlebars yet attached... but yeah, solid actual front tie down points would be great if we didn't have a composite bed.
