Well. @PapaRee 's upper cover arrived. Which caused me to change my vote. There were some nicks / gouges in the lower edge of the upper handle opening. I thought that they might get hidden by the cover. NOPE! FFS!

There's zero chance, but I sincerely hope that KTJO4x4 goes out of business. She won't given the social media sheeple, but a dood can dream . . .

My handle arrived today after being delayed by the Post Office for several days. The covers are installed, but the clip nut is the one that is too large. I'll stop by O'Reilly's tomorrow and get the

961-320D part kit. There are two bolts with the handle of unequal length....which one goes where?

The covers don't fit all that well, but ok I guess. Better than nothing though....I sure got used to the grab iron in my 1997 4Runner and still reach for it in the Tacoma when getting out. Don't need it for getting in though...

I believe it is short up top. Check to see that they stick out evenly before threading to verify. That was what I did before we had instructions.

 

Just checked and tracking has it landed at my local post, both at 1:30 and 6:30

I’m actually expecting to get the delivered notice then come home to a yellow postcard saying undeliverable and then get lost when I go up couple days later saying it can’t be found lmao

 

I've gotten loss notices before and the item showing up later. Talk about a wave of expectation and defeat.

 

It's probably where mine disappeared to - decided it wanted the warm weather, not the snow in PA. Still no tracking update on mine - been in limbo since it was shipped on the 28th.

 

USPS got my hopes up. Pushed the delivery date from 1/6 to being out for delivery yesterday. Never showed up, this morning it says it was delivered to my porch yesterday at 6:30pm. Check my cameras and nada. Maybe today... tomorrow... next week... who knows.

I've tried to avoid using the vendors name in my posts in this thread, but not sure if that's the correct path. Maybe we need to mention it a gazillion times here and try to get this thread higher in the search engine indexes. What's everyone else think?

I have an update about my handle that I ordered on 11/29/2019. Never received the rebate that I sent in. After sending several emails, she finally responded requesting to pay the shipping ransom. She also, in not so many words, wasn't going to honor the rebate unless i can prove she received it. Since so many of you have yours in the USPS black hole, I paid additional ransom for FedEx ground. Got the tracking number last night and scheduled delivery is Friday. How much you wanna bet she sent me a grey one instead of the black that I ordered.
