HP Tuners for 2005-2015

What about regearing? I have 315/70r17 tires, but regeared to 4.56, so wasn’t sure if changing that setting would be beneficial. I have auto trans.

I bought a Dakota Digital speedo calibrator but haven’t installed it yet.

 

Do the math for your tires and input your differential gear ratio (4.56) into the "Final Drive" parameter.

I believe it is higher on the XR.

I am looking for the procedure(s) to disable the 'SAIS'.

What would we do if Justin left us? That is a concern from converting from UCON to HpTuner. I don't know of any decent tuners in the midwest. My Subaru days really tainted my perceptions. And recent vids of other shops that I thought were more reputable were failing on the basics; i.e. dry starting a fresh build without priming the oil, continuing to crank without oil pressure... Makes me question their methods.
Would be nice to know if there is a secondary option that has become familiar with the intricacies of the Tacoma. Obvious alternative is OVtune.

 

Maybe he's just taking a well needed vacation.

I'd love to be able to help the 4.0L more. But until we have all ECUs done in vF Tuner, which is actively being worked on, we are a bit limited. We are excited to see @JustDSM use our software when it's ready. There will be quite a few controls available that I think HP Tuners does not provide.

Especially useful controls if you are supercharged.
