    Unless you’re 90 years old or 350 pounds I wouldn’t sweat it.

Yeah they aren't that cautious unless you work the covid line but then it's just a face shield.

38 year old, 5’11” 265 lb. ex-smoker here. I’m not exactly the pinnacle of physical fitness but aside from the sense of smell, which has already started to return, it was barely what I’d consider a head cold and symptoms cleared up yesterday.

These stories of healthy people in their 20’s, 30’s and 40’s dropping dead from this...I don’t know. Gotta be more to it.

Hey no sweat man, you just got $600 bucks to hold you over until next fall when they say it will be back to somewhat normal again (probably not but maybe.....).

There are some nasties that follow this around. A blood type component to it as well where certified blood types react worse. But it is very odd those stories they don't add up. One commonality with the majority of all the deaths is pneumonia of sort.

I know someone that's on chemo and immune compromised and she gave about the same.report as you plus joints hurting a little more than normal from cancer treatment but thats it.

Yea the first round can kick some people's asses but it seems like the ones that get hit hard get pneumonia too. I'm sure some of it falls on the person, afraid of doctors/too good for doctors/not aware enough that they need a doctor. SIL has been in the ICU for a while now and isn't looking like she'll be home for a while longer. Probably going on 1.5mths

A good friend of mine from high school had his little brother pass away last week. he was only 44, found dead in his bed in the am. He had no life insurance, married, 3 kids, etc. everyone has to make their own decisions on what is important, but financial security / life insurance should the worst thing happen is so worth having. we got into some 20 year term at age 29, it was very cheap, for good coverage. If you have a house / kids / family that you dont want to stress out should the worst case scenario happen, look into it. hopefully you never have to use it, if you do, you will be so glad you did.

Hate to hear that man prayers. Also to add to the doctor thing (I fall into the catagory you describe) but our medical responses have been from a reactionary methodology and not a precautionary. We sent people home who should of stayed waited till it was bad enough it is worse to fight etc. There has just been a pretty good failure on all fronts sadly there isn't just a pinpoint the issues.

This happened to Krystal about 2 weeks before we met. Dad had a major heart attack in his sleep and was dead when mom woke up the next morning (they slept in separate rooms)...

No life insurance, no will, parents were legally separated (don't knwo the back story on this)...so, everything had to be sold and whatnot because the parents were separated and her mom had no title to what her dad owned.

It was a shit show and took them about 2yrs to get everything settled. I think this is partially why her and her brother give zero fucks about getting out of debt, and why I have a constant uphill battle about money with her.

Wills and Trusts don't get enough importance placed on them. Especially if you've got a family history of medical issues where long term care is likely needed down the road.
