That's a horrible idea. What time?
It was still pre-production when I was looking. 4 cylinder CVT was enough to stop my interest. And the Colorado was considered, but price tag compared to the Taco made it an easy choice. And, M/T.

EDIT: I really have start drinking coffee before I start typing. (Or thinking for that matter!)

Yeah. I know they suck, but availability seemed like it mattered at the time. I'm coming from a piece of shit HP Pavillion x360 convertible laptop. Because when I started researching business laptops 3 years ago I got frustrated, and went to Best Buy and bought it. But anyway. I think I've got it all figured out now. Now I'll have a nice, relatively powerful workstation that will run my takeoff software and as many monitors as I'll ever need. I went with the Thinkstation P340 SFF. I think the Nvidia Quadro P1000 4gb will shine doing the dirt take-off. It's CAD adjacent work that I do, I guess.

The look of fear and bewilderment on a grandmothers face when a 5 year old unwraps it, and holds it up in the air like simba is priceless.

Any way you can flip that front cooler or mount it to the top instead? Short version is air bubbles will go to the highest point and that's where your pump is drawing from. The air bubbles end up cavitating in the pump and it seriously reduces performance over time as the coolant evaporates.

I'd recommend mounting it to the top with the fans set to exhaust... the fresh air in the front will keep your GPU cooler too.

Unfortunately, no. The cooler hits the ram when mounted on top and theres not enough tube length to flip it.

Edit: a lot of people have same issue with the d4000 case.

Yeah those tubes look super short... I don't remember Corsair ever being that short but I guess they're trying to reduce clutter since everyone is obsessed with appearances now.

I would just pay attention for noises down the road but I'm sure it will be fine for a fair bit. I had no idea it was an issue but that's how I cooked my last AIO cooler before saying fuck it and going back go air coolers. Have a Dark Rock Pro 4 now and zero regrets... it's actually much quieter than the Corsair ever was once I got the fan curve dialed in.

I also didn't realize that was an ATX case so maybe the tubes aren't that short... that GPU is freaking massive!

I'll look around for some sort of solution - i'd hate to have issues later down the road.

That gpu is massive, but its a factory overclocked 3080, so it has a much larger heat sink. I also went with the 5950x btw. Seems more versatile from what i read.

Thanks for your help on spec'ing out parts btw. I'm excited to actually use it when i get home.
