I figured I would ask here since this is a 2021 thread, if there is somewhere else just point me.

I got a 2021 TRD OR AC Army Green recently and after some unsavory dealings I've been in post negotiations for a Pro grille and buff job. They told me that Toyota wont sell them a pro grille without a TRD PRO vin # and that toyota doesnt want to sell these grills because they are exclusive to the Pro package blah blah.

Anyone know if this is true for 2021? I straight up don't trust the dealer. Next step could be reaching out to Tacoma USA?

i want to buy in bay areas as they have sr v6 4x4 or sr5 4x4 lb, both we are not allowed to purchase down here

I’m looking at purchasing a 2021 Trd off-road automatic double cab with 4wd. I’m look specifically at a Tacoma with the technology package with led headlights. How much did you guys pay for a similar truck? Also I have a 2019 Trd off-road auto 4wd with 8,500 miles (I’m the first owner, and it’s never been in an accident) I would trade in, how much would I probably get for it?

my main reason for wanting to trade in my current Tacoma for a new one is because I think I can get a new one for only $1,000-$2,000, and for that I’d get a brand new truck that has led headlights, power seats, and apple CarPlay plus the technology pack.

With this market, you have a pretty good shot at it. My truck is steadily increasing in value as I wait for my ‘21 to come in. Dealer is offering me over KBB excellent condition at time of sale.

Toyota is doing $1250 rebates for my local dealer. I forgot to add that, and also I was not including shipping/ tax / and tags.

I figure I could get roughly $34,500 for my truck and I could get the rebate for $1250 so I’d be at $35,750 and the new would be $38,500. I think most dealers would come down at least $1500

 

Allow you $35,750 for your truck. And sell you a brand new better equipped truck, 2 model years newer for $1,250 difference?

I just threw your info into KBB and came up with 31k. You might get lucky and get 32 for it, but I wouldn’t plan on getting too much over that. Keep in mind rebates are paid by Toyota not the dealer, so there is that...
