50's and 60's -- you are right -fast! The "jury's still out " on (my) the 70's. The first couple of years of mine (70's) went fast -- then came 2020 -- this last y!ear dragged like hell

Good morning, everyone! Exciting day for me! I'm going to pull some popped drywall nails and replace them with screws. Then I get to mud them over and paint them in a day or two. Might have to double up on the blood pressure meds just to be safe.

Morning all:
Up early to go hunting and saw the answering machine blinking and knew right away that probably my hunting buddy has called, it was a message from him that he was in too much pain to go out today. He hunts with pain, so when he decides not to go it must really be bad. We all know, getting old is one thing, but having to live with pain of varying degrees on a daily basis has got to be a 6-10 on the "that sucks" meter, today he's pegging a 10!

BTW: Got the stimulus check yesterday, as soon as the tires I ordered come in IT'S GONE, oh well, I can look at it like I'm getting a free set of tires.

At 72 the years are just going by so quick. I have had relax and watch a movie on my todo list for a week now. I thought I might get it in today but the wife wants me to put the outside christmas decorations up in the attic.

Carl: Sorry you friend is in too much pain. As we have gotten older pain is just a way of life. When one body area heals up the pain just moves somewhere else.

 

Good morning folks. Sitting in the oral surgeons parking lot waiting for the wife to come out. 6 years ago she had an implant done and now it's coming out?.?. Hope it's not serious for her sake. She's had a rough year. Have a safe one.

They said they think there is an infection under the tooth. She has to rinse her mouth several times a day with an antibiotic mouth rinse. I love my wife dearly Tom, but anything that comes down the pike she gets hit with it. She hopes they don't have to do another bone graft for the implant. Thanks for your good thoughts, but we'll have to do what needs to be done and unfortunately that will include additional cost. Thanks again. Be safe.

Darn Ken, hope all comes out well with the wife's tooth. Those implants are expensive enough, let alone having to pay more if a problem arises.
