Got mine yesterday, covers definitely don't look great and the handle has nick in it right where it will be in eye site, tough for someone with OCD.

I doubt that you'll get the same attention with that workmanship problem as the KTJO4x4 plagiarism did.

    Good luck!

As great as that would be, I would say to sell it to someone? Just do a better job communicating and delivering than KTJO4x4 did. Not hard.

Yeah, I suppose it is. I just try to keep things in perspective. I hope it all works out for you. (not being facetious)

To summarize the things that help show the business ethics at work here:
    • Plagerized website policies
    • Counterfeit toyota looking part labels using the OEM right hand part number on the mirrored part
    • Quality similar to ordering from Wish, but with slower shipping and worse customer service
    • Calling all the aftermarket things OEM

    Perspective always good.

I'm admittedly pretty wrapped around the axle, but I did make mistakes promoting this.

Found a Facebook thread about people getting these. Has anyone ordered in the last week and had luck?

I think we can honestly say the luck ratio seems to be about 1:500... if you think you're that lucky, take a shot!

Seriously though, I think everyone who's ordered and received (or not received) a DAH, has been pretty disappointed thus far.

I spent another 30 minutes trying to get both my bolts in by bending the sheet metal mounts. I got close, but it was still off enough that when I started the lower one, it cross threaded just enough to spin the riv-nut. Now I have a permanently-half-installed handle where the lower bolt cannot go in or out.

What a waste of time. Now I get to cut this piece of crap out so I can go back to stock.

This thread at least helped me not be as disappointed! My expectations were set pretty low, so I'm actually not too disappointed from the unboxing 2/3 feels like a bit of a win to me (correct hardware, correct covers, not exactly pristine condition).

Disclaimer: I may change my opinion after the install experience, but even that expectation is set pretty low now too.
