Seeking recommendations for beefing up rear suspension for increased static load

    My biggest concern was the rust between the leaves and rust under the flaking paint. Can't really do anything about that without taking the stack apart, stripping it down to clean bare metal and repainting. There's short video link in the album showing the paint flaking away with my finger nail and revealing the rusty leaf.

    Thanks. So many people don't have anything to back up their complaints.

    Definitely more marred up than my springs were when they arrived. I think mine had a boatload more paint sprayed on them. Obvious runs all over the place.

    Sorry for your bad experience. I'd probably just run them and be done, but obviously that's not for everyone. Good luck, and maybe others can chime in whether it's worth worrying about?

    Thanks, I appreciate the feedback and was thinking of starting a thread to ask that very question...didn't mean to jack this thread. I just came accross it when looking for other Dobinsons threads.
