"College success for all" has to be the ABSOLUTE dumbest required course im being forced to take

Sounds like the class every freshmen has to take.

Unless you go to the local campus and then move to the main campus.

When i got to grad school they wouldn't let me sign up for classee. I had been accepted as an undergrad years earlier and not attended, and so had not taken the freshmen orientation course. Texas Tech is a special place.

Yea it's one of the required gen ed courses to graduate... I didn't take it a dozen years ago when I was in college because I specifically remembered saying "that sounds like a BS class, I'm not going to waste my money" now I have to waste my money

 

Is it like a study skills course or something? Might not be all useless.

 

I wish there was some kinda loop hole like that for me here... as it is I'm having to fight the admission people because they only gave me 4 credits out of 26 I tried to transfer

I do wonder if it’s a good class though because I learn something new about campus quite a bit, like where free snacks n shit are.

 

Ugh, that sucks Transferring credit is always such a shit show. They give any reasons why?

At least you followed through with college the first time you went... this jackass here dropped out and defaulted on my original student loans

No, they didn't even tell me they transferred anything.. it was like pulling teeth last week just to get em to tell me anything.


Hopefully it gets better since the skool year has actually started.. im sure they're understaffed and overwhelmed at the beginning of each semester

The admin people are always swamped it seems, or just disorganized. I had to call and get them to dig my application out of under a pile somewhere - shoulda taken the hint.
