Thanks for the info. I have not personally heard anything negative associated with their products. I suggested SAE because not many people would like to run my setup. They’re the non SAE wide cornering and throw light everywhere. I love it. Especially dark and rainy nights. I figured OP would want to stay road compliant. I feel kind of embarrassed for suggesting them if the consensus is that there are better options out there. Going to read into more of this and great link and suggestion!

No worries, again offroad BD lights kick ass. Their fog, when first released, was stated to be SAE compliant. Then shown to not be SAE compliant (something like that). BD then they made a modification to address the discrepany. Still that thread has a general consensus to not run them as SAE compliant fogs, post-design modification. That said, i believe they are now SAE compliant. From what I've read on reviews and the testing, I would not run them. I am pretty sure they are now within the SAE specs, but a lot of people think the cut off is still not the best (even if within SAE spec). It was a huge thing in that thread for a while and BD was posting too.

Id get Diode dynamics, especially when they have upped the game when it comes to SAE fogs. Rigid has had one out for a while that tested pretty high too but clearly beat out by Diode Dynamics.

That was my general understanding, but it is all captured in that thread and others if you search for them.

I'd love to install some BD lights anywhere else though as offroad lights. Got my eye on their ditch lights.
