5 years old today and babied the whole time. If I can get a warm clear day I will shine it up for the next potential owner.

 

Yeah I really like it for a truck holster in the mount. Wearing it as an OWB holster is another story though.

It is actually nasty. Been driven in the rain a few times and really needs a good wash and detail. Picture is illusive.

 

I know it was well taken care of and you should get top dollar for it.

 

@mrproduxn not sure where you are in the world, but the weather here in Mississippi has been "half and half" for most of December into January. Some days, it's sunny but very cold. Others are "warm" and cloudy with chances of rain. My inside is TERRIBLE at the moment. And my OCD is really starting to bother me about the dust I see gathering on the dash. The sun hit it just right this past weekend, and I feel embarrassed with it all there. And I can't really reason myself to go spend $8 or $10 at the local automatic car wash. I'd prefer to do it myself.

Got this cool little custom hitch cover/brakelight/tail light from dreams2things on Etsy set up today. Picked up an extra wire harness and connector from autozone for 30 bucks that let me conceal the wiring from the unit.

Note: my wife wasn't around to hit the brake so I could see it light up in the second pic lol

Have anyone splice your light pods with the reverse light don't wanna drag too many cables under the hood, thanks

 

I don't think it would be a good idea to tap into the reverse lights for additional LED lighting. It may draw too much current and either blow a fuse or burn out the wire to the reverse lights.

 

could easily spare 1-2 amps in the circuit I'm sure, just make sure the LEDs aren't like 60w each.

 

I spliced into the trailer harness.

 

I ran mine to the engine bay on a Pro Comp SS-6 switch for dedicated use if I need light in back of the truck.
