I find you can't fight it anymore.

I would be interested depending on price. I would prefer aluminum but I think the welds might crack over time with all the abuse. Like @Joe23 said, steel frame I think would be better giving it strength.

The desire comes first, the wallet will follow.
Its all a matter of priorities and how much debt you are willing to go into, or how hard you gonna go to figure out how to pay for it.

Your wish can be a command. You decide.
This doesn't mean you should go and buy a toy, you may want to just keep things as is and be chill.

Does anyone have any cheap powdercoating places they've dealt with? I'm looking to get my rims done for under $300 if possible

Depending on if you are going offroad with them, spray paint works well. Easy to touch up to.

Sanded and painted these guys. Think I was $350 into 8 rims and paint for five of them.

naa it's easily fightable. a combination of understanding the difference between "want" vs "need" and with a touch of procrastination.
    :pccoffee:

I want to do the bed tray, but i don't need it right now.

if i lost my bed, lets say damaged by folding over when on a trail or the plastic cracks or anything of that sort that warrants a replacement or If i suddenly become a moving company and would require more bed space to allow to transport stuff. Then yes, i would need a new bed for the truck. But since none of that has happened, i'm contempt with the bed i have now.

but that wont stop me slobbering like a dog over a steak for one

I wanted a flatbed years ago with my 2nd gen dodge. Then 4 years ago with my 3rd gen dodge. It just might happen with this one. I'm hoping it dose.

Do I need one. No. But why not......

ooof, this reminded me of reasons not to buy a soft-topper; it would be shit to clean.

I'm assuming some convertible top cleaners (for cars) would be best but any better ideas @daks?

My softopper doesn't have an ounce of dirt on it. It's not very porous. Everything sprays off

Another vote for Union Rim. Family owned place, will take care of the finer details. A bit pricier than competitors but worth it. Make sure you set up a time to talk to one of the guys and be specific with what you want and what you need cause these guys do a lot of wheels and have tons of options for you.

Also as a side note, with powdercoating in general, consider whether you're going with a clearcoat or matte w clearcoat or no clear, because it changes the appearance of the colours etc... I got mine clearcoated since they are winter rims, but if I could do it again I would do a more matte finish since now my wheels are always shiny and it makes the underlying colour too intense.

Def going back to Union in the spring to powdercoat another set of rims, was happy with them.
