My next Tacoma will be my 13th Toyota truck ... love those little trucks.

man, this is only like $2 to $3k shy from a Tacoma TRD PRO...

 

There is no dealer offering a trd pro for $43k lol more like $47-$48k

 

Kelly bluebook seems to be pretty accurate. Their reported value surprisingly adjusts pretty well with the market. You could also get a Carvana quote and show the dealer that. But I believe Carvana is closer to trade in value. You really want to shoot for private party Kelly blue book value. But especially when trading in that much value, you have to take into consideration the tax savings which varies depending upon your state.

6. Discount 1-(#5/#2)*100=% off MSRP)

10. Kelley blue book trade-in value
11. Trade allowance(amount given for trade)

You can get a manual Pro for about 43K. An automatic in the mid 44K's

 

Sounds like you want to jump on that offer as long as they’re not trying to take you to the cleaners on the purchase price of the truck. I think the other poster said Kelley blue book said 31 And they probably meant trading so I’m guessing they’re giving you private party value on your trade. With your tax rate in California trading is going to save you a significant amount of money too.

 

Since corona I think the best reported has been 500 off MSRP and most are including the stupid market adjustment. And of course there are no incentives to be had on the pros.

This is pretty good. I kept shopping this dealership in the Bay Area as they were the only ones with non bs pricing.

However 2 months ago when I got my trd pro they didn’t want to move on the price of the off road. So I decided to go with the pro.

Which btw is 48k @ Sticker which wasn’t easy to find as the dealer initially wanted 5k Mark up.

I was on a "waitlist" for a Manual TRD pro for 3 months... and I decided to say fk it... there were 2 people in front of me that also wanted a manual and they may only get 1 for the entire year... You can't order a toyota.

 

Does anyone know of a high volume dealer in Texas that does online buying? I don’t mind going anywhere in the state, but would prefer to do the order and all that via email/online and the local dealers just want to push me into what is on their lot (I’m in North DFW).

 

i am looking to get a tacoma trd pro with manual, but due to the crazy times... i think I'll hold off until the storm dies down... maybe end of this yr or 2022?

I got my '21 TRD Pro LR manual for $41,464 in October. So deals are out there, albeit rare.
