Low of 31, high of 36 here today. The next week or so is just about the same high: mid 30s. I won't complain about those temps for this part of the country in January. Even the lowest low is projected to be in the 20s, with little chance of snow. We had enough in December to last awhile.

I didn't watch it as a child but my wife did. She has introduced me to the re-runs often. Old Uncle Joe. I saw him in a movie from the 30s or 40s. He was playing a tough guy police captain. LOL. It seemed so out of character for him after watching him as Uncle Joe.

A back step for when I get older, Carhartt seatcovers, 4Runner wheels, Topper, and "tats all folks"! --for now!!
If that is your countertop you are keeping and that is the tile -- Go with it -- that will look GREAT. Mistake many people make is they make their backslash and countertop CLASH -- in other words they both scream out at your visual sense for their individual attention. In doing this, your brain as a observer has a confusion factor-- which do I like -- wait -I like them both
One should not overtake the other -- one has to be more passive and compliment the other. Ask any trained architect they will agree -- How do I know -both my daughter and SIL are degreed Architects, and they know their stuff.

    Afternoon :hattip:

Can't believe what the gardeners did

I just got back home from running errands and I see leaves , decorative rock and debris all over my driveway and front patio area . Then I see the gardener down the street using his leaf blower cleaning the street

He then watches me use my broom and leaf blower to cleanup the mess he made as I push all the debris back into the already cleaned street . About a half hour later I've got two gardeners re cleaning my patio and driveway
