It's half carbon fiber and the lock side is titanium, with s90v steel. This was a Knifeworks excusive, so there are only a limited number of these. The Spyderco Military is one of my favorite Spydies!

Nice!!!! Yeah after looking at your pic more closely I could tell it was a frame lock vs a liner lock and the scalloping on the lock tab looks nice. I wish I have the coin when some of these special editions come up from BHQ, SMKW, KW, KSF, etc. I have their pacific salt 1 too but I can't find it.

Do you have the benchmade freek? I want one of those but everyone is out of stock.

He wasn't paying close enough attention to the trigger guard and safety location it's a dead giveaway it's not a mossberg

I have a Mossie 500 too, but it resides at my parents’ house, for their protection.

I carried a BM when I was in the Army, but have since moved away from them when I found out they supported gun grabbing politicians. I think the Griptilian is the best knife BM makes. Owned several of those in my lifetime.

    Looking at either getting a S&W M2.0 or a gen 5 glock 19. Leaning towards the S&W

Glock 19 is the best handgun out there hands down.

I'm not a fan of S&W unless it's a wheel gun. I didn't like the original M&P and don't like the 2.0. Go rent them both and shoot them both.
I forgot about that situation. Oooof. I'm not a fan of the griptilian. I have a now discountined one from their hunt series. Got it long before those lines were drawn.

Glock has great customer service, not that you would need it. Lots of aftermarket options for them too.

Have one Griptilian that sits in my glovebox now and it’s only because Jeannie bought it for me years ago.

Damn, I wish I was in DC right now...

The aftermarket thing is a big one. Lots of people can't get use to the more angled grip for me it was more comfortable and easier to control than the more vertical 1911 style.

That's what I like the most, is the grip. And the low profile barrel/slide that sits so snug against your hand. Really compact and ergonomical grip for me.

I run such a high grip after a day at the range the webbing between my thumb and pointer finger are cut to pieces from the slide. I use to shoot often enough (everyday) to have a callus there. Apartment living has killed range time for me.

That’s an opinion I’m sure many would agree with. Definitely a very well liked firearm.

I personally don’t like Glocks much at all. But that’s just me.

I have tiny hands. They just don’t work for me.

Same, plus I'm much better with a 1911. I really like my Kimber Evo SP, but haven't had the chance to shoot it.
