Does anyone have an issue with their lock on their door. My Driver side door locks but the lock doesn't move- it's just sitting their but you can move it, but it doesn't lock unless you press the lock button.

My center console doesn't latch, but it stays closed. I just call it my "soft-close" center console, even though it's suppose to click lmfao.

The only other complaint/issue is the AC speed only working on high, but that's an easy fix and is common. I've just been too lazy to fix that.

I dont have those issues. I feel the center console thing is an easy fix if it bothers you.

My only issues are my dot display for the radio would disappear sometimes. It fixed itself though and haven't had issues for a year now.
Another issue is when I have the fan or ac on low it squeaks. Stops when I turn the speed up though. I could probably fix it if I wanted to but it doesn't really bother me.

Besides that, it's been perfect. Love this truck!

What do you mean about the dot display for the radio? I haven't used the OEM radio in nearly 2 years lol.

The tiny horizontal screen. Dots are used to make letters and numbers. It would just go blank. Buttons stopped working too so I would be stuck with whatever station I was listening to.

I was gonna replace it with an android auto unit but then it resurrected itself so I'm gonna keep using it until its officially dead lol.

Ohhhh, man, you should install an aftermarket stereo! The Pioneer AVH-1440 Nex is cheap and has Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and it's amazing lol. It's easy to install as well!

Haha, Tacoma's are amazing, but every car has annoying inconveniences, and these just happen to be mine haha.

Replace door lock actuator and latch on console. That should be it, maybe $30 worth of parts.

I'm right there with you. Tons of CD's I keep in my truck and whatever head unit I would upgrade to would be nice to play CDs.

my bone stock 2015 has a tiny bit of take off vibration. Most the time I don't feel it, but when I do it thoroughly annoys me.

My volume knob is my biggest small issue. Like, when I go to turn the radio down an increment or two, and it goes to full volume, I become thoroughly annoyed.

I purchased mine from Crutchfield and it came with the parts. You just need a crimper, and it's not difficult at all. It does play CD's haha. There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube and Crutchfield walks you through the installation on Youtube if you need it!

Sometimes it can be annoying- but I use Apple Carplay and there's a lot of customizable screen options for brightness etc. I do wear sunglasses, some polarized and some not, and it can make the screen somewhat dark- but you can still see it fine but it can be annoying sometimes.
