Color Matched Grille Feeler

Hey guys, in the process of me searching for a color matched silver grille for a satoshi I found a guy out of reno that does color matched grilles for toyota locally. He is priced fairly competitive with ordering a new stock taco grill but said if he had enough to paint he could offer them for sale for less or paint your grill if you send it to him for fairly cheap. Let me know if any of you are interested and I will get a price from him this week.

My grill is going to run me 160 color matched silver streak. But that is with a brand new grill I got online plus labor for a total of 160.

Then he would just need your vin to color match. Turn around should be less than a week.

 

I know this is old, but do you know what the difference between the two black "paint to match" grills on the site?

 

$160 is a Good Price.
I went with one (Silverstreak color matched) in the link below, last March for $184 Shipped.
Seems to me there was a discount or sale at the time of $159 + Shipping.
Can't remember the details, wasn't a group buy, but maybe a discount for TW member.

And regarding the question above (post #3), I don't see much difference.
If you're not looking for "Black Mica (Code 209)" color match,
you'll have to paint it anyway. I'd buy the $33 one.
They all fit the 2nd gens.

Ok... thanks. that's sounds about right. I've got a desert sand and since there doesn't seem to be any trd sports in desert sand it's impossible to buy a color matched. Looks like i'll just be getting the black and getting it painted, unless i luck out and like the looks of the black when i get it.

This way i'll have a grill in place while I work on a satoshi - can't wait.
