Wtf? How come the key doesnt unlock the door? There is a slot for it, hmmm intersting.

Ill try that on friday after im done work.

 

I have my doubts about going in through the grill .

 

I'm guessing he's already 80% there. Or passed out the couch.

 

To me it sounded the same exact way it does when you press the unlock button on the inside

 

OK, so it WAS a stupid question.

 

I'm going through the grill tomorrow hell or high water. If that doesn't work then I'm smashimg out the fucking back window. That'll unlock it.

I kinda feel like this is an elaborate excuse to upgrade the grille.

Seriously, I'd at least try pulling the skid and seeing what electrics I could reach. Find something that's unswitched, it might give you just enough juice to use the remote.

 

A side window you can replace yourself pretty easily. I’d break one of those personally. Would be cheaper.

 

True cost of this is the $ of old grille + $ of new grille. Yikes.

 

If I can't get through the grill, I'll do that. Just rack it up as another mod!

 

Does your pro grill have the removable radar panel? If so can you remove that part and reach through like you're stealing m&ms from a vending machine and pull the release cable?

 

It's 2017 so no nothing. I'm going to beaver saw it out like the $95 chinese grill that it is.

Did you lock it with the key? Or was it locked before you removed the battery, and then shut the hood?

 

Disconnected the battery, locked it from the inside then shut the door. I've only got myself to blame.

Doesn't sound right. I've used mine numerous times manually. You just have to be sure your key is facing the right direction. Otherwise, something is unhooked within the door.
