I think that’s a great deal. I’ve been looking for the exact same truck in CA since November and have not been able to get close to that price. Any tips on how you were able to get that kind of discount?

HA! If only that were even close to being true.
Maybe in NJ but not even close in the Bay Area, CA.
You are looking at more like $8,000 or more At Least for a Pro over here.
I am very happy with my purchase price and my vehicle.

People seem to fail to understand that Location matters.
You can get Oxygen on earth for free. On mars it might cost you a little bit more..
People like to say "Well I can get X for $Y!!" Good for you if it's actually true... And it doesn't even matter unless you give a location or region..
    What I posted are facts.
Show me a deal thats available for that price in the Bay Area, CA for a:
2021 TRD PRO Auto in Army Green that only costs
$2-3K more than the $40,855 I payed for my:
    2021 TRD OR with
    • Auto
    • Premium Package.
    • Advanced tech package
    • LED lights package.
and I will consider just buying it and keep this one just for my business.

    As an example - https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/ctd/d/new-2021-toyota-tacoma-4x4-trd-pro/7255455729.html

I wont hold my breath for your proof of said $2-3K more price....

Very true. I picked up my 2020 ORDC last February before coronavirus for $41k (msrp 45k). You did really well for corona times and CA market. Congrats!

My bad, I thought you meant they were offering $34k for your trade in. I think Carmax offers are usually pretty low

Bay Area buyer here, San Jose to be exact.
Just got a '21 Army Green TRD OR 4x4 DCSB for $39,400 before taxes and fees on Jan 2nd. Dealer was asking for $43K told them I found the exact one at a different dealership in the area and they price matched after I showed the price I was quoted.

Freeman Toyota. Manual TRD pros are essentially unobtanium, there are *some* that get lucky buy based on my conversations with 30+ dealers and being on a list to "get one ordered" with 3. I gave up after a few months of searching.

If you want a COLOR+Trans + TRD pro you're looking for a unicorn. I was also willing to travel 1500 miles.

Trade In is AWESOME I traded in my 2018 Super White 6 Speed Manual Tacoma TRD Pro with 37,168 miles on it Paid 41 for it and got 38,200 on trade. Yes it was show room clean no wear visible inside and full service records on hand. and Now I have Moved on from the Tacoma great truck However being a 6'3" Tall person it was not the Best fit So now I have moved into a 2020 TRD Pro 4Runner.

I bought mine from a dealer in San Antonio and worked with an online salesman that did a great job. Ordered/allocated the truck I wanted, got me in a loaner until it arrived (old truck was destroyed in a wreck - RIP), and even got me a nice discount off MSRP. DM me for his contact info.

If you want to pay 3-10k above Sticker you can have one tomorrow. But at sticker they are near impossible to find. The only “deals” I have read about were here and I actually contacted the same dealers that others have claimed to have found deals on and I didn’t get the same or even ball park price.

mind you I was an all cash buyer with no trade in etc
