$2200 will barely get you the arms, you will still need shocks and fenders

WHOA DUDE! if you are worried about parts making noise then do not go long travel. also, take into account that you are not good to go once you put the LT kit on. you will still be spending money on up keep and repairs, mostly for the stock parts of the truck that will break.

well, long travel is far from a "lift". it's a whole new performance suspension with alot of design, fabrication, and R+D time put into the product

however, i can see how people would view it as a waste of money

I wish it only cost $10k.

And you'd have to be one stupid motherf*cker to go long travel in NJ...

I don't know, the roads in Jersey have potholes that can swallow 35's. I don't know where I'm at dollar wise, but I'm sure I have surpassed 10K. Plus you figure in all the broken windows, third members, gears, bent axle housings, drivelines, transmissions, oilpans, wheel studs, wheels, tires, cracked frames, and a myriad of other shit you don't think of it gets expensive. Seems like I always break what I don't have a spare for.

aint that the truth. i bring all kinds of spare parts when i wheel, and it's always the thing i don't have/didn't think to bring. and i'm not even LT....then again, maybe that's why i break stuff.
