    Hello!

This is Braeden from Overland Outfitters.

I thought I would start up a thread here as I've been perusing Tacoma World for a long long time. So long that I ended up doing a tonne of mods to my Tacoma because of this forum. I did so many mods to my Tacoma, that in 2017 my wife and I ended up starting an entire business around modding other people's Tacoma's and outfitting them for adventure!

We are a shop in Cloverdale, BC. We have a full on shop with three bays where we work exclusively on Toyota's, especially the Tacoma, 4Runner, FJ Cruiser and Tundra. We also have a store front where we sell everything one might need to "overland" or otherwise go exploring and wheeling in their truck, and camp out in nature. We specialize in doing work that goes beyond bolt on (which we also do a lot of!) such as tubbing for 35's or bigger, cab mount chops, shock relocations, front LCA mount relocations, long travel, custom shocks etc. We also do a lot of cool other stuff like armour, bumpers, electrical, dual batteries, solar, roof racks, roof top tents and anything else you can think of!

We also have an online store at www.OverlandOutfitters.ca if you ever want to check that out! We try to stock as many Toyota parts as possible, but the website is always a work in progress and we are always adding new things, so if there's something you don't see, let me know, because we can probably still get it!

I just wanted this thread to be a place where you could ask questions, or otherwise just see what we're all about! Feel free to send me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Thanks so much, and hope to see you around soon, if not out in the forest, then in our store!

    Braeden

Thanks so much! We are really excited for this year! It should be a good one!

oh man, it's been a crazy road, but we're just over 3 years in now, and I'm grateful for all of the people who have supported us along the way. Still a lot of work to be done, and we are still growing and learning a lot, but it's all part of the adventure

What did you think about the bp-51s? I made a post on Instagram talking about my experience with them and a couple people got kinda mad. But I was just telling it like it was for me haha

They are alright, haven't had anything fail on them and super disappointed with how much sag I got with them and they can't handle the weight I have even though they should

That's interesting. I found the dakars sagged pretty bad for me as well, but I had a bunch of them blow and couldn't get parts to rebuild them, and the travel was severely lacking. Also broke the rear right shock mount around 4 times. They ride great when they work, and the rebound adjustment is sweet, but yeah, had to ditch them. So much happier now. Truck rides better and has way better articulation and travel.

My dakkars sagged until. I. Put the ome aal in them. But those Will.be changed one day the squeaking is driving me nuts. And the front coil. Evers sagged to only 1 inch of lift with 20mm of pre load so I have to use a spacer to get where I want
