Rodents chewed up some wiring in my truck so I had a 2020 offroad lb loaner for the past two days. Driving that was a reminder of how much of an improvement ovtune is to the truck. I had gotten so used to how it drives I forgot how bad it used to be, even when comparing a stock truck

    That sucks!

    Hopefully the fix is painless.

Friend of mine just had the same thing happen to his tundra. Apparently the shroud’s are made of soy?? LOL, he said oughta be rat poison. Either way... its cool to bring it up that you still notice a big difference and how valuable this tool/device is.

Good to see you in here! I just took off out west, or I woulda brought the beer!

Looking for anyone in the AZ - Scottsdale area to get it flashed. Just trying to save some bucks while I’m out traveling.

I also read they are made of Soy, smh who came up with that. Absolutely makes a huge difference with the tune, even lifted with 34's i felt like my truck with a tune had more off the line torque than the stock tacoma with no tune, and then the shifting is a whole other story. You just get so used to driving with a tune you forget how good you have it. And while i may be preaching to the choir, if you've considered this but haven't done it i'd 100% recommend.

Thanks @DownhillDragon for the tune! The truck has been freed from its chains! I couldn’t stop smiling on the way back. Even the wife was grinning when she drove it today!

I met up with Tonered yesterday to have my truck tuned. I'm on 33s and Tony recommend I try the 35" tune based on other's experience and so far so good.

My main gripe about the truck has been the schizophrenic transmission. It always wanted to downshift under slight acceleration or inclines like the truck isn't capable of generating power in the 2k range. No more, I'm able to accelerate moderately and made the drive up to Mt Rainier without the truck constantly shifting all over the place. It feels more...linear. My passenger said it feels smoother.

Tony also updated me to the latest TSB which also seems to have tamed a lot of the gear hunting when using adaptive cruise control.

The upgrade is painless, the price is very fair and Tony will make sure you're happy with the tune. I had been holding out waiting for the newest TSB to roll down to my model year and to see how the different tunes shook out, but Tony made it easy with his willingness to keep the truck updated. Thanks again!
