If someone reads what's new on he horizon, can they copy/post it here? I'm not trying to keep 10 webpages open all the time.

 

I don't see why not. I see references to other websites all the time. We may just not see much of Matt responding to questions as often on here.

 

I'm lazy. It just easier if all my Tacoma stuff is in one area. Plus it seems his website will be more bleeding edge kinda stuff. I don't need to be on the front lines of development.

 

Bleeding edge is not my cup of tea when it comes to 'puters and programming. The vF Forum is a safe space for us.

It is impressive what folks can do with it though.

 

So is there a way with VFtuner to take one of the standard tune packs and add gear lock to it? Or is that not one of the options you can change? Like the poster who asked the question, I am still on the stumble start tune because it was the last version released that has gear lock. I am totally happy with that tune other than I would rather not have the delayed start. It would be a big step back for me to go to a different version without gear lock.

Yes.
Gear lock can be added, you just have to change ECT shifting to lowest values which makes you lose ECT.

 

I too need to keep it simple, I gotta reign in the cognitive loads and just don't have enough time currently to explore all the things that I'd like to.

 

That is why I would keep an eye there, esp as tutorials and such will only be posted there?

It might, but you'd be putting your trust into the BS that been posted in this thread in the past? IMO, the other OVT / vF threads are gonna have better info than this thread. The OVT Development is done. The 2.0 Tunes are nearly Final.

 

Well I was assuming there'd be a consolidated thread for the the varried VF tunes. Much like moose and papa variations, this thread is definitely not a reliable source haha

Speaking of safe spaces, I am wondering if the vF forum will be a safe space for vacation pictures. @dYL0n is back and can be found on the vF forum. He said that he has been following all along and is active with the vF tuner. Things could get interesting again.
