If I knew both shock mounts would be running towards the front of the truck then I wouldn’t have had any issues . Should of looked at the pictures better

    Looks good.

The whole thing could be rotated forward a bit to get the front foot completely on the frame.

Is anyone running these with king 2.0 air bumps? If so, can you post up some pictures? Or any air bump?
How much clearance is there with a 2.5" shock?

@Arcticelf Quick question, what is the coating that you put on the Axel hinges? My bolts won't necessarily fit through due to some spurs in the coating. Can I file them down? Is it a galvanised coating or just a primer? Should I paint them afterwards?

    Sprayed on etching primer.
I used longer bolts to pull in the two halves together. Then switched them out with the provided grade eights.

So the entire disc shares the load onto the frame.

Everything is coated in self etching primer, and should definitely be painted before or after install. I like the rust-oleum spray in bed liner, because it takes rocks and sandblasting pretty well, but you can use whatever you like.

Please send a picture of anything you need to cut/file/fit so I can make sure it's changed on the next batch, but yes if you need to do minor fitting do it up.

They got longer bolts than you, so they should be long enough, but if not then a long 1/4" bolt will make a good puller.

I put King hydro bumps on mine, they had to be cut pretty far into the frame to clear a 2" shock. A 2.5" shock would be tight, but you should be able to fit it. This is a 2.5x2.5 bump can burned into the passenger side.

This is a clever solution for a bolt on kit and I'm tempted to grab that last pre-order spot. I'm researching shocks to pair with this and would like to confirm that these shocks sound correct for this kit.

Yes those would work with this kit as would most 12-14” travel shocks with top and bottom eyelet mounts. You would just set up the lower tabs and hoop based on your measurements as recommended in the first post.

Yes, those will work. That's the shock @TwistedTLM4 is using.

Shall I add you to the list?

Yes, you can use the 7100. You might need a spacer for the top to take up the full 1.5" spacing between the sides of the mounting tab, since I can't easily confirm what it comes with for that. It uses 1/2" bolts which are standard, and the bottom you can adjust the width of the axle tabs to match what you need.

The top shock eye ends up about 4" below the bottom of the bed in the top of the wheel well, basically as high as possible, so you can get the bottom of the shock as high as possible for best ground clearance.
