    I remember reading that in your Taco build. I'll probably end up going the same route that you did and try the Coastal version first. If it doesn't work out, I can always follow in your footsteps and change them out later.

    I need to hurry and get this thing done so that I can move on to the lift, coil conversion, panhard bar correction, and replacing almost every bushing. Lots to do.

    Don't have much steel laying around to practice on. Just grabbing scrap pieces from my pile and slapping it on this one piece of square tube. Preparation is half the battle but I knew that. I'll probably end up fishing through a scrap pile on my buddy's ranch. Get some larger stuff to work with.

    Not bad! turn up the heat and slow down a little bit bottom left especially

    Take some and cut through the weld perpendicular and see what kind of penetration you are getting.

    I'm already done... Just waiting for something better than 8 bucks an hour to weld outside with my own tools

    Best I've seen soo far is 10 bucks an hour working for the city but they want 3 years work experience plus a forklift operating lisence

    Spacex is hiring but... I don't think I'm ready to weld rockets

    Being that I took my advanced classes which I was supposed to get firmiliar with tig durring covid I didn't actually get to do tig

    meaning all the aluminum/stainless experience I got was from highschool which was just a couple weeks

    I've just made a couple carports which affords my living but... I dont see it being a long term thing though

    Well, I got an email reply from Resz Fabrication. The lady answering my inquiry will ask the welder for an update as I reminded them that;

    1. I've been patient AF considering I've only asked twice about my links over the 6 months I've waited

    2. My custom dual swing out that was ordered 3 months later was finished and installed before I can even get my links

    Aside from my rear lower links, and Sherpa Equipment roof rack (ordered November), I'm pretty much done.

    Other parts I already own but been too busy to install :anonymous:

    Decided on what you're going to do with the Tacoma?

    Fify :burp:

    People that do voice recording work for a living have my respect. I'm trying to record a screen demo for some software - its going poorly.

    That would be nice. I got tapped to give a presentation on the whole product because I'm the one who is most familiar with it so far. Ordinarily we put on a conference in a hotel, but because covid it's all online now. It's a learning experience for sure - so much has to go juuust right.
