I have poly bushings but mine started cracking before the polys and I know people with the rubber ones that are cracking. Poly probably exacerbated the issue since there isn't as much deflection in them. There are several contributing factors that lead to the cracking. The front frame horns are thing and small with 0 cross bracing to prevent flexing, the core support gets a lot of twisting, the battery is heavy and not supported well enough to handle offroad impacts. All of those along with how, what type, and how much you wheel will add to the cracking.

Mine is beyond bad I need a whole rebuild from the firewall forward, inner wheel well structures are starting to tear, the center section of the core support is no longer attached to the sides, under the headlights are many many cracks, under the batt is just starting to show some hairline cracks, I broke the hood catch off the hood from flexing so much and it ripped out of the hood.

I also wheel on a very regular basis almost once a week.

I can get some pics to show all the damages if ya'll want to see what you have to look forward too.

Yeah mine compounded really quickly before I was able to fix it. I also choose wheeling over fixin'.

What's up Alabama TW peeps, relocating to Birmingham monday, figured I'd stop in and say hi. First time visiting and living in the south (only lived midwest, SW and NE), so here goes for this city slicker.

It is actually giving me an opportunity to re-engineer so to speak where things are mounted and routings etc, looking at it as a blessing in disguise.
