Inferno Thread

NICE! This is the first time I've seen the Pro wheels on an Inferno and liked it. I wonder if I should get the pro caps so I can be almost as cool.

 

Ive done most of the simple mods myself, but the Husband surprised me shortly after I bought the truck with the Pro wheels as a birthday gift. (I was debadging and removing all the silver, so he figured I'd like the black wheels too.

 

I have it and love it !

 

Here you go. It's not an exact match but I like it. The black/orange combo came out right after I pulled the trigger on this one. I like the look of the black/orange combo but the straight orange is great because it stays cooler in the sun which is nice for us when we're out and about in the back country.

 

SSO for the win. I chose the 30" cutout version. I also have the stage 2 wings that have been sitting for a few months that I will EVENTUALLY install.

 

I had to look up the stage 2 wings, I had no idea those existed *drool*. I'm sure I could find the answer online somewhere, but how does the SSO Hybrid install? Everyone's bullbar paranoia is getting to me. Lol.

Of all the Inferno's I've perused (here & on IG) yours is in my top 3 favorites. Very tasteful mods.

Well this is amazing, thank you! And I hadn't even thought of the heat. I'd be using it in Nevada desert so that's a legit concern all the time.

 

I'm also from Nevada and I'm super into your truck Which bumper is that? It's nice a subtle, I like that.

 

No problem! These were from right after I installed it back in June. We got out a lot this year so it's seen quite a bit of use(camp table, seat, dogs jumping in/out, loading things in/out of the bed, full sun, etc...) and it's held up well so far w/ no issues to speak of. It cleans up pretty easy to.

 

I picked up the black & orange version. Here’s a picture of it. I’m very happy with it.



I just wiped it down that why you see different shades of black on it. When it’s dry, it’s all the same shade of black.

 

The Pro wheels look awesome on the inferno. I actually had these wheels on my 2015 MGM and told the dealer that those wheels stay with me. Put them on my 2018 Inferno when it came in.

Maybe I was wrong about TRD wheels. I have the same tires as you and those look nice. MY TRD Pro-owning friend wants the bronze wheels and is offering me his (hopefully for free but maybe at a discount). Could be worth trading out. I could probably always sell mine for the same amount.

 

If they were free they would look really really really nice !!!!

And my wheel setup look even better when they are cleaned up.

The inferno only came on the TRD Pro for 2015 and it's a unicorn of a truck. I tried to find one unsuccessfully for about 6 months before I settled with my blue ribbon metallic TRD Sport. Which I ended up selling two years later for my inferno Tundra.. because it's the best color. (And I needed a full-size)

There's currently one inferno 2015 TRD Pro for sale on autotrader and does not meet the low mileage criteria you're looking for, and also looks like someone peed in the drivers seat..
