Wouldn’t be under warranty, their website says a u bolt flip kit voids the warranty for the leaf springs.

Edit: I can’t read apparently, it’s SHACKLE flip kits that void the warranty. Sorry about that.

Anyone mentioned the aftermarket lower shock mounts?

Can't really speculate on shock measurements without knowing how those were measured and setup

    I'm not sure tbh.
So am I being told my rear shocks are too long for my setup? Sorry for my ignorance

I told you that a long time ago in another thread when you first asked about Fox shocks (or rears in general).

Pretty sure I posted part numbers, lengths, and told you to get extended bump stops.

I apologize, I guess i assumed when I bought the entire suspension kit the correct size shocks for the rear would be sent. What do you recommend for extended bump stops

Wheeler's Super Bumps are what I used

    20190920_113647.jpg

There are no real complete kits and there won't be considering how old these trucks are.

That's also why there are a million threads (and new one's daily) asking about lift kits for these trucks; they're pieced together but if you look, the answers are all the same cause the same parts are still available.

Longer bump stops prevent from longer-than-stock shocks from collapsing.

With how little shaft is sticking out of the shock body (at ride height), it's very likely you've bottomed out your shock(s). Even if you had bumpstops, it's likely they wouldn't have prevented you from bottoming them out anyway. Looks like you only have an inch or so of shaft sticking out...

Either shocks are too long, or you've welded the lower shock mounts from your flip kit in the wrong position.

Can you believe I actually had 2 extended brake lines, new in package, and even gave one away to someone in the LT?

Other one is in my closet

Yeah, I just *added* an extension to mine, rather than replacing the eom one. I couldn't quite figure out how to remove the OEM one because of the bracket that attaches it to the frame.

So I've got enough room for like 3 feet of down travel, lol...

Apparently it looks like it, though I haven't checked.

The rear brake line isn't as much of an issue as quickly as it is on Tacoma oddly enough, and we have a lot of droop even from the factory.

I'll have even more with these longer springs I need to install...

I am sorry I have no idea what you're talking about; did you quote the wrong person (me) earlier?

Just realized I had posted a picture earlier and that's what you may be referring to.

That picture is from just having pressure washed and degreased the rear end; my transmission pan had leaked and over the 350 mile trip, fluid had flung all over the rear end.

If you look closely, you'll see droplets of water all over.

It was the perfect opportunity to snap a picture as a reference for other things like in this case...shocks and bumpstops.

That sleeved cable you're referring to, was the wiring to the rear locking differential. It ends at the actuator.
