@ResearchMonkee Do I remember you saying something about a Moab trip in July? I'm planning my trips for the year and was wondering if anybody else from the KC area wanted to meet up for a portion of some of mine this year.

Anybody know of an Ozarks ride other than the Overland Expo one? Anybody want to plan one?

End of Juneish. Have a taco and 4runner going. Possibly another 4runner.

Like rendezvous at the Ozarks in October? I plan on that too with my pops.

I also have to consider the fact that I'm actively trying to pursue a new career so I don't know if I will be able to get the time off.

I've played around with the idea. We camped out at White Rock Mountain last time we were there and it was pretty much empty. (though it was september) Then you got plenty of little OHV trails all around and Byrd's if you want to do some technical stuff. There's also the something something ranch with OHV trails. I'd have to look that one up again.

but an fyi with car wash falls if its rained a good amount the falls will be really cool to see but the river crossing will get dicey and there are a few crossings out on that road

I totally understand. I'm trying to see if a Mojave trail run with my buddy could include the other trips I wanted to go on over a 3 week period.
SMORR? I'm thinking down into Ouachita NF or Ozark NF so that I can sneak in some mountain biking in the areas along the drive down
I just have no idea where to start with planning a trip down there because I don't have any good resources for known routes or camping. Thoughts?

SMORR is still on this side of the border. Everything I listed is Ozark NF in AR.

Yeah, I figured you were thinking of something different. SMORR is just the only one I know of with a name like that.

I don't have FB, thankfully. Thank you, I'm going to keep looking as well.

But KO2s do suck. What is the problem? I thought it was well established by now that the KO2 design is basically 20 years old and can't compete with even Cooper Discoverers... ask me how I know lol :crapstorm:
