33s are my route too.

 

Basically keeps the RPMs in stock range from what I understand and that it's also more interstate friendly

 

They're temporary for me for right now. Now way am I gonna go to 35s with stock gears

 

I would say you are going to suffer on passing and hill climbs. Having 4.88s and 35s those 2 situations feel like stock. 4.56s are going to be slow and I'd suspect also less incline to kick it down to maintain speed. 3600 rpm at a little over 75 isn't horrible.

 

I am honestly at a loss to understand how that tread pattern does as well as it does. I'm sure their compound is dialed in as well because they weigh like a bagillion pounds.

Do you account for the percentage of difference between stock and your new size? I know it may sound basic, but I forget sometimes lol

 

Of course, everything's temporary. Monster truck wheels is inevitable.

A new career would open more opportunities for me on my build though.

I saw a similar issue with my YJ. Regeared from 3.55 to 4.10 running 265/75R16. RPM range was comparable to stock stock gearing and tires, but it ended up being a bit of a dog on hills. Shedding weight by switching to 235s really made a noticeable difference in road handling (didn't want to go through another regear), but it's still fairly thirsty at higher speed/rpm.

 

I like foot hiking and from the pictures, I think it would be well suited for mountain bikes. I'm still amazed at how many amazing out of they way places AR has.
