The whole hot laps line is solid. I have the gripper and the small pack that holds a water bottle. It’s perfect for short rides

sounds like a nasty break, its tough to say without actually seeing you, and where you're at in terms of healing and strength. When did you break it, and when was the surgery? If MTB is your goal, ROM isnt quite as important as strength, stability, and weight bearing/shock load tolerance. If you have a PT already, make sure you're working on weight bearing on it. They'll help you with that. My best advice is that if your PT tells you that you can't ride again, or that you shouldn't ride again, find another PT. They should be working with you towards your goals, not changing your goals to suit their comfort level and knowledge.

I guess those are the only two things now haha, I think they used to have like one or two more small hip packs in the line

This is the fanny I've got, and it's no longer being made anymore. I may need to get another one for safe keeping.

Hip packs are what most are choosing these days. I posted this 2 months ago and 986 pages back. Kinda hard to find it ;) so here it is again.

I may do the same as that's my bum bag of choice as well. My current one has a few small holes. It's not ready to be replaced, but getting there.

I've got my niteriders coming in the mail, hopefully can get cool shots after that. Can finally start getting some after work weekday riding in.

Oh, I looked them up and didn’t even click the black fanny. I just saw all colors were “unavailable” I kinda just assumed wording was discontinued since it didn’t say “out of stock” like they were just keeping the page up for support questions and such.

I hope you enjoy it. Night riding is a totally different experience. A good solo night ride soothes the soul, you'll see what I mean

I feel like people that started riding before 18 are usually way better than me regardless of current age haha
