.5 Thanks for the support creed and friends. I looked at schedule and supervision is good with me taking the time off. I was 20 minutes early today and this is with a stop for fuel fill up.

You need one answer saying all of the above!!

Since I pretty much do all my own scheduling unless I don`t get told about something.

I venture I have not used an Alarm maybe 14 years .

Although I must say the China Flu has screwed things up so bad as far as getting into some end users.

Now having to process through the office which does not open to 0800 where unless it really went bad I was done having breakfast by then thinking where and what I was looking at next.

I like the simple fixes. The trailer hitch was dangling when we bought this, I figured it had a broke bolt in the housing. Looked into it yesterday and the bolt was just missing, ran a M10-1.25 tap in and cleaned it out and picked up a bolt.

Now the not so simple fix, the left rear hub needs some attention. Somebody has messed with it before.

At least you’ve got something to work with. The knuckle heads around here usually weld the hub to the axle.

Boss picked these up yesterday, we send a lot of our TIG welding out, I can do it but don’t do it enough to be good at it and our TIG machine is small. They look okay, most of the time the welds are beautiful from this place.

I worked at a production shop for about 4 years. I've never seen a tool quite like the one pictured on the bottom. It's amazing all the new stuff they come out with. The shop I worked at had a couple of RA 3 pallet changer VMC's a dozen or so other mills, at least or close to as many lathes, and even old warner swasey chuckers. 2 full time tool makers for making fixtures. I started at the bottom and worked to set up person before moving on.

I quit here once for 2 months and went to work at a production machine shop on 2nd shift. Could not stand it. Same thing everyday. Cummins diesel thermostat housings, 80 a shift. They had 4 milling centers set up on them with pallet changers so they never stopped.

I left here because my boss wouldn't give me a raise (20+ years ago) he called me and ask me to come back with the raise I was asking for, I was more than happy.

Well, I washed my work van yesterday, which we use primarily on campus, and usually don’t take to town. Just a little bit of salt sand there.

Last nights crash was caused by a fixture lost pressure on mori. I used to do production. Glad I don't anymore. Warner Swasey chuckers, that brings back memories from 25 years ago. Made a lot of flywheels on them.
