Installed engine bay lights. Mounted a switch behind the headlight on the driver's side. All wires are hidden. Installed them for functional use, not for bling.

Added a momentary button on my shift knob for my roof light bar. Works great for a quick flash of the light bar.

I was on the fence about this as I really like the stock SR grille but decided to see what the Pro grille would look like . I’m thinking it looks slightly better.

    Looks great.
I may do the same. I can’t justify the ridiculous price for a Trd pro skid plate when it’s something that likely will never see a skid ha.

    two questions

did you spray paint the lower bumper valance?
is the skid plate powder coated? or just regular spray paint?

I have the same bumper and I got it aligned a bit better, there is quite a bit of adjustability, even holes for those that have a body lift. I’ve had mine for a while now and really appreciate the extra clearance maintained when using my bike rack. I would frequently bottom out with the stock hitch, but haven’t done so yet with the RCI HC.

I think the sport has body colored front valance...I was looking at a 3R3 valance and rear bumper caps but decided to stick with the original valance and the black rear bumper caps arrive fedex today (don't want the chrome rear bumper).

Haha yeah. I’ve been debating on getting the pro skid but if I need real protection I figured I’d opt for a serious steel skid plate (and sliders too). Better value and function.

I did not paint the lower bumper valence. Just removed it and will keep it in case of long trips as I do think it makes a difference in driving experience at the higher speeds.

The skid plate was spray painted using layers of Krylon Fusion Glacier White paint then a couple layers of Rustoleum Matte Clear Coat. I did not sand it but did prep it with degreaser before painting. The paint adheres perfectly and evenly but I guess that wouldn’t hurt if you sanded beforehand.

Used it to move an abandoned double ladder treestand. Using 4LO and the diff. locker always brings a smile. One snowy slope required a few attempts and moderate momentum. Didn't bother lowering tire pressure.

A socket set would have made quick work of disassembly, but where's the fun in that?

I finally got a lift installed on my 2018 DCLB. I pieced together everything from various black Friday deals.

The list: Toytec Aluma 2.5 coilovers and shocks, SPC UCA's, Dobinsons 111-R leaf springs & poly bushings, Wheelers U-bolt flip, Durobumps front & rear, All-pro extended rear brake lines, and carrier bearing drop kit.

Darn I was hoping to see what rip-off gas prices we were having to pay back in Humboldt Co, (far north CA)
