I found out my shipping label was created on the 19th, USPS got a hold of it in the low 20's and there was a "USPS delay" as why it so long to get to me.

Should have had Brian stick around for the install. Curious how that would have gone.

I think driving 45 minutes, each way, to insure that nothing happened in transit with my replacement was already above and beyond.

Yes, it looks like things might be snapping into focus. My handle was received by USPS today per Josh.

Yep... I just started investing in the Milwaukee and Dewalt versions of those. I’m a Dewalt guy, but I think the Milwaukee packout version is better.

So I got mine installed yesterday.

I put the bolts in first, just to see their angles. I left the lower bolt real loose, and took maybe 5 minutes to get the top bolt in. I also stuck a flashlight between the headliner & top of the trim piece, so I could see the top bolt hitting the threads. Everything tightened up clean. Covers fit well, but do have the rough edges like most have mentioned.

I did also remove the tweeter cover first, and that made R&R of the trim piece easy.

I guess there is hope... but I've yet to hear anything back for my damaged handle. I forwarded the original email to Brian, maybe he'll get it resolved. I'm just hoping they resolve this before she runs out of stock...

OK now, I must say, this is quite humorous. AHAHHAHAHAH

Received mine a few days ago, but haven’t gotten to the install yet.

It's a work in progress. See my build thread.
So I paid the ransom, and I got a pre-shipment email. I wait with antici...

Although mine arrived yesterday it may now be weeks until I can install it. Playing in the font yard yesterday afternoon, our 6 month old 45lb puppy ran full speed into me, hitting me just below my left knee. Thankfully he was only scared to death because he knew he hurt daddy bad, but otherwise he escaped uninjured. Unfortunately I now have a hyperextended left knee and can't walk. And I'm finding it very difficult to learn how to use crutches at 67yo. I've never been in this position before. The pic is from 7 weeks ago, 34lbs.

Brutal. Hope you have a solid recovery. Maybe a TW person in your area can help? You might like to have the handle now more than ever.

My german shepherd loves to play but sometimes goes overboard. I have a bad left hip and I still play with her and my stepsons pitbull. They only want our affection but sometimes forget our weakness.

Pretty much in the same boat. Have a rotator cuff injury and it will be weeks before I can install the part. After following this thread might just list it in BST instead.
