The ultimate headlight upgrade H4 (not LED or HID)

well since the harness and 100w bulbs did not play nice with my tundra unless i ran resistors.. settled on these puppies. tomorrow night i'll take the truck for a spin.. too late right now and its too loud.

 

For all the H4 HID retros I've seen there is an adapter (Morimoto on mine) that connects to your OEM headlight plug that then connects to the HID ballasts and also provides the highbeam signal directly to your projectors.

 

If I'm not mistaken, there is a description how you can check using a DVOM in the beginning of this thread...just for your own backup. Although I knew what my 2nd gen needed, it's always nice to check.

Hoping to receive my bulbs from Powerbulbs soon. Their email says they shipped on 12/15 and it could take 21 days because of holidays so hoping it’s just delayed and not lost. Anyone have any recommendations for DTRLs replacement that won’t burn or bust my lens like the old ones did(not from Powerbulbs cause I’m not waiting a month again)

12/16. I've had the racing bulbs for a week+ and I ordered those 12/13.

 

Hopefully you get them tomorrow or Monday. You ordered 1 day after me

 

i ordered on the 25th. and they showed up yesturday
