Thanks for the response! I may try them both at 4 to start and run the 1/4 spacer I have on the driver side. Appreciate the response.

Set them at 5/4 and ditch the spacer. That's how Bilstein says to run them.

You may have the stock UCA hit the coil spring at full droop with a 1/4" spacer increasing the max coil over length.

Thats good info to know with the spacer. Thanks for the knowledge. I can just bump it up and run 5/4.

Just for clarity.. I don't know for sure but I'm suggesting that if you do use a spacer to at least check full drop UCA/coil spring interference.

Before going to the 6112s I tested my vehicle with a 1" spacer on stock OEM TRD front coil overs and has significant interference at full droop.

Some measurements I took of the assembled coil over lengths off the truck (max extended length):
TRD O/R top hat to center of bottom bolt hole 21 5/8"
TRD O/R with 1" spacer 22 5/8" (had coil/UCA inference at full droop)
Bilstein 6112 22 3/8" (clip position does not change overall length)

The extended length of the 1" spacer TRD front coil overs caused interference. Coil diameter could also contribute to stock UCA/Coil interference at full droop.

Running 285/75/r16 and a method wheel with 0 offset 4.5 backspacing. Thinking about going 255’s next. Want a taller tire for more clearance.

I honestly wish the 6112’s gave better lift. So that’s why I left them at 5. I think bilstein recommends not using a spacer and instead raising the driver side one notch but I already had the spacer and got the coilovers already set at 5. I swapped in the 650lb springs since the old springs sagged a bit.

I'm leaning hard toward 275/70/17s. I think my 265s look a little small with my lift now. Not sure if I want to deal with the potential rubbing issues of a 285/70/17

I got a cmc and rub a little at full lock going down steep grades. Honestly was a big mistake and I’m paying for it now with low gas mileage. They look cool but not worth it.

That's why I was looking at the 275s. I ran up to LA last weekend and even with the 2" lift I was still getting 19 mpg with my 265s. Maybe I'll just keep them and put a 16x8 wheel to make them a little wider and upgrade the 5100 in the rear to 5160s.:spending:

Ordered 6112's / 5160's from Wheeler's today. I called them and they said they are not in stock, but should be by mid February.

Just got the Bilstein 6112/5160 set up put on today, with Camburg UCA’s and OME Dakar HD’s.

You may want to check the directions for the rear shock and reservoir mounting. The line connecting the two should be down per the install instructions. upload_2021-1-8_18-18-6.jpg

Looks great! What clip settings did you go with? How much lift did you get up front?

Thanks! I did the 6/5 Driver/Passenger, about 2.5 inches with the 650lb springs, plan to get bumper/winch in the future, but went ahead and got the heavier springs now.

I feel like it’s great, went up to 50mph on some forest roads today and seemed super smooth compared to what I had, feels good on the road as well. Coming from the stock Trd off-road suspension with a 2” spacer and rear blocks.

might be a dumb question, but when you say set at 6/5 what does that mean? I know the 6112’s have 5 notches but not sure if that’s what you’re referring to?
