I just turned 50 in December. I bought it in November as a birthday present to myself. Best present ever.

Wife and I are both over 50.....and we both drive Tacomas. Hers is a '18 TRD Off Road, Inferno, 4x4 and she loves it. She thought she wanted a Ridgeline until I convinced her to go drive the "Orange Taco". I just picked-up a lightly used, '20 TRD Off Road, Magnetic 4x4 last week.

55 here. I’ve been driving trucks since I was 18. I can’t see driving a car as a DD. It’s just not me. When I die, I’ll ride to the funeral home in the bed.

Leer shell....still waiting for my lift parts to come in!
I'm 53!!! This is my second Toyota. I had my first Toyota from 1996 to 2020. I cried like a baby when I sold the '95! My high school dream was to have a lifted Toyota truck. When I get my lift for this one (everything is on backorder), I'll feel like I've made if for sure! I guess it will be down hill from there!! LOL j/k

    A few.
I snagged my current tacoma right before at age 49. ( Had 3 previous). I remember the day i got my 2009 trd sport.
Just a little story about that.
Bought it without driving it since i had a 2006 prior and traded it for a new 2007 tundra. I saw it sitting out by the road on a sunday driving past and it caught my attention. That barcelona red really out as it was the first year for that color. It was unlocked so i got in it and checked it out.
Got on the dealers website the next morning and clicked on the "get todays best price" button. They replied back with a price and then shortly after replied it that it was sold. Turned out they traded another dealer to get it for a customer.
I didnt let that deter me. I drove up to the dealer and the customer was there and unsure if he really wanted it or not. He had a first gen he was trading. I starting talking to him outside and kinda psyched him out saying things like i heard these new ones arent as good as the the older ones and other things.
I ended up sitting down with a salesman and they started searching there dealer network for on just like it. While that was going on the other guy changed his mind and didnt want his. But i sure did. HeHe. And i drove it home the next day trading in the tundra.
I remember when driving away with it that it felt like home again. Like a comfortable pair of old shoes. And I thought that I could see myself driviing a tacoma for life.

Of course I ended up trading it in on a used fj 2 1/2 years later for financial reasons and had a ram 1500 after that. But now Im back in a tacoma.

I might have everyone beat, turn 81 in May. 5th PU, now have 2013 Tundra DC and 2017 Tacoma Off Road. Had a 2008 FJ but gave that to a grandson when I got the Tacoma. Had a 2003 Silverado and gave that to a different grandson when I got the Tundra.

First post. I just got a ‘19 DC, metallic grey, with 11k on it, today. Pretty psyched. I look forward to spending some time here and learning from you all. Oh yeah, 57 years old. Larry C3D9D317-AB66-4101-BD2A-B9FE9288E0F7.jpg
