You know that employee saw that and it made their day saying that to Karen. I know it would for me.

 

Years ago I lent a nice SK socket set to a 'friend'. Didn't return it, I kept asking, finally returned 'it'. Only it was an el cheapo Taiwan set. I threw a fit and he swore up and down that is what I lent him. I went to his garage and it was nowhere in sight. Lesson learned... no tools loaned, don't even ask. Til this year.

I have a top of the line appliance dolly, cost a pretty penny ~40 years ago. I lent it to my best friend (I've posted about him moving in his gf). I did tell him I didn't need it back real soon. 2 months later I called him and asked if he was done with it. Yes, but I don't have it now, I lent it to a friend. YOU DID WHAT WITH MY STUFF???

He got pissed, which made me get pissed, on the phone. I told him to get it back and I would come get it, or you can buy me a new one. He got it back, but didn't let me know. I called a week later, I'm otw to the town he lives in on other business, I'll come by and get it. He said he would set it out, hope someone doesn't steal it. JFC you snotty little bitch. I was there 20 minutes later, it was outside. I knocked on the door, no answer. I could hear his little ankle biter barking, he never leaves home without it.

So I load it in my truck, this was less than a month after my hip replacement as well. I got er done. We are still 'friends,. I'm no longer mad. But some day I will get even. Some things I don't forget. Or forgive.

 

I agree. Karen should be glad I was not in line. I would have made it worse for Karen.

 

I use it. Sent it into Blackstone after my oil change.
They said everything was fine. IIRC silicates were a little higher than the other stuff I had been using, but they said the oil was still healthy and I could try 12k next time. I typically do 10k mi changes.
