No i don't think so, at least not for the distant future (although i say that now) lol. My winch fund money/mod money has taken a hit since my fridge and dishwasher all decided to break within a few weeks last month so i'm trying to put a pause to anything

Tho i think i'm going to do a viper cut in the near future since that is free. I've had the plastic trim lining for months just been too lazy to go and do it

They’ve been great for me. Had mine for almost 2 years and put about 30k on mine. Been good in rain, snow and definitely off road. They’re also relatively quiet for an MT.

Seriously lol I run R Compound tires that are practically slicks on my other car so on my truck they really have to be crappy for me to notice crappy wet weather traction. Then others standards can be super high so reviews for tires are something I take very lightly

They’re not listed on the discount tire site but are on the Goodyear site. @Discount Tire was able to setup the order for me on the load range C and have them shipped to my local discount tire.

the load range options are only for 17” rims. Pretty sure 16s only come in E for 285s.

EDIT: I stand corrected, I guess they don't show up on the goodyear site but I do recall seeing them on some tire retailer websites (but not all)

The rims in the background would look better.

If I remember correctly I think the C load are a Chrysler or GM OEM option so they don't show up everywhere but do exist. Can't remember the specifics but I do remember notes in the description about it being specific to some american manufacturer.

After some digging I found the C load 285s weigh in at 50 lbs. I debated C or D but decided since my truck is still my DD misaswell save the rotating mass. Plus I never had issues with my C load 265s. This also swayed my decision from changing it up to Toyo AT IIIs at 54 lbs for C load or Wildpeaks which are boat anchors. (either option would've just been to try something different for the sake of trying something different anyway)

Discount tire stocked them at their warehouse and had zero issues ordering me a set. Had them delivered to the my local shop within a few days.

Note that often these lower rated tires have a shallower tread depth than their higher rated version. I assume this equates to less mileage and traction.

I know that’s the case with a lot of SL rated tires but the C load duratracs are full depth meaty tread. Spec on the Goodyear site is 18/32” on the E loads which equals 0.5625”. A quick measurement and I’m getting 0.558” on mine that are a few months old.

Awesome! That's good to know. Maybe I'll be shopping C's instead of D's.

I’ll have a set of five 285/75/16s ko2s here for sale pretty soon if you’re interested. Roughly around ~10k miles. I switched to 17s
