Does anyone live near Highspeed Labs?

I'd be curious as to what's really going on. Maybe a knock and talk.

Well it's good to hear that they are at least still around and didn't disappear completely. Still though... Hopefully someone can get through to an actual person there and get some solid answers

Giving them the benefit of the doubt but its possible they could be waiting on parts. I’ve been waiting over a month for the new supercharger I ordered and was told Magnuson is waiting on rotors.

HSL does not use new rotor sets. That’s why they’re 1k cheaper than SuperchargersOnline. They found a way to rebuild and reuse rotor sets.

Received my Supercharger back from High Speed Lab yesterday afternoon. Was a routine
rebuild, 10+ months, glad to get it back, everything looks good on the outside. Was packed well
in the plastic shipping crate I sent it to them in.

Good to hear, I'm getting to where I need to get mine rebuilt and debating if I'll just try to do it myself (basic nosecone rebuild) or if I should send it out and get the whole thing looked over and rebuilt. I just don't want to deal with someplace holding onto it for almost a year...my truck is my daily and I don't think my wife wants to have to drop me off and pick me up from work every day for that long lol.

When I do mine Im thinking I’ll to send it to stiegemeier porting for a rebuild. He’s been rebuilding, porting and modding the M112s for the cobra guys for years.

The rotor pack bearings are the issue, not sure if it’s an issue on your year supercharger tho.

The turnaround time for my supercharger at Superchargers Online was about a week and a half which was really nice considering my truck is my daily as well. They're more expensive than High Speed Lab but you get a brand new OEM rotor pack. Just not having to wait a good part of a year for a rebuild is worth the added cost IMO.

@eon_blue I really wanted to do it myself, but after some research and due to my lack of a real work bench and shop press I decided it’d be best to send it off. Next time around I should have my shop built and I’ll likely do it myself. With that said, my only regret so far has been the place I sent it. If you have any hesitation about rebuilding it yourself I’d say send it out, just send it to some of the other places mentioned above with a quick turn around so you don’t have to wait the better part of a year lol.

Edit: I should note that I did hear back from HSL after my last attempt at contact. Like others, they responded with a pushed back date to mid/late February. We will see..

I feel like I'm partially to blame, as we were both trying to figure out where to send our stuff and I sent mine there and mentioned it to you

Anyone have experience with Jon Bond Performance for SC rebuild services? I'm about to send mine off to them; I was able to schedule my service date online which is about 3 weeks out and they state that their rebuild times are 7-10 days.

Well that’s good to hear. I don’t mind paying more if it means the quality and service are on par with the price. I shipped it off this morning, scheduled for service in the middle of Feb.

Why can’t we just buy a new/rebuilt rotor pack from someone other than HSL on eBay and send in a core? It seems like that would be the easiest option if you didn’t have any internal damage but just need a full sc refresh

and if you have a press to do all the press work
