Also does anyone know of floor mats that work well in these? my buddy said the button straps in the back are to retain the rear mats, mines an 06 so i had no idea. But i want to run some front mats to keep from wearing through this flooring since its expensive and only gonna get harder to get than it already is.

The factory all weather floor mats that came in my 2013 clip up to those in the back. You might look for some take offs for sale for the back seat if you want to secure them with those

Hey guys I'm looking to buy this mat. Contacted my Toyota dealership here in Ottawa for a quote.... 709cnd ( 500ish usd).

I gave the part guy this part #: 58510-04850-b2 for an access can manual.

He came back and said it's for a "carpet floor". I'm just looking for someone to confirm that I have the right part before I spend that much money. I own a 2008 base model access Cab

Also if anyone knows a better way to get one cheaper in Canada it would be much appreciated.

    Thx guys.

58510-04850-B2 is the correct part number for a manual trans access cab

Figured I would give an update. So in my search to find floor mats that I could put down in the vinyl floor to try and keep it in good shape for as long as possible. I found the 12-15 oem all weather mats fit really good. They still have the buttons in the back so they are retained easily that way. The fronts are a different story since there’s no holes in the flooring to put the retainers in but there’s two holes right next to the seat rail mounts I had an idea. I made some brackets that would use this space so it would cover the holes as well. So I ordered some oem retainer clips, part numbers 58698-76010 and 58694-76010. Then I bent up some brackets and then cut some holes in them for the retainers to fit in. Then I drilled some rivnuts into the floor bracing and bolted the brackets in that way. Still need to paint them but I wanna make sure they work well first.

The Husky X-ACT Contour mats are made for carpet AND vinyl floors. Those are the only ones I found when I put in my vinyl floor replacement. But thats been a year or two ago. Mats are perfect, especially with the vinyl floor. Weathertechs will not work.

I replaced my carpet on my third gen with 10K miles on it, daughter spilled a strawberry milk shake, cleaned it up but the smell wouldn't go away. My OCD kicked it and pulled the carpet and insulation from underneath ordered a whole nes insulation pad and carpet assembly. I know a bit of of overkill, the carpet would have been able to put back on but I said with just get a new one.so I have an extra carpet assembly for 3rd gen Tacoma double cab, if anyone is interested I'd let it go super cheap. It's literally 8 out of 10 the small spill was cleaned up religiously.

Grab the numbers and check online. They come in small groups it seems. If you do find check few dealers as prices is variable. I think I got mine fir 4XX something. east coast seemed to have more but when I checked there were only 7 and a few folks have scored so may not be much but they seem to always show up in limited numbers

Haha I was just reading your build thread. Several sites show them as something you can buy, but.. Ive ordered stuff before only to get an email several days later saying out of stock. Ill check my local dealer first. Shipping is probably a bitch on these. If that doesnt pan out, Ill call some of these guys like McGeorge or Boch. My interior is stripped out right now for mods. I was going to pressure wash the carpet, but this thing looks like the tits.
