    Hi all,

Im wondering if any members here got these new blackhorn offroad wheels. From the website it seems like they’re a brand new company based out of Canada.
Not a lot of info on them yet but I thought I’d give it a shot and ask here...
I was initially considering Motegi MR150 but I was told that there was a back order of 5+ weeks. And I came across these blackhorn wheels.

Now I’m trying to decide between going with a known company (motegi) or a brand new company.

    Any info would be appreciated!

The BH01 looks like the well known level 8 MK6

It seemed like their websites and social media accounts only went up around July 2020...
I agree, though from the pictures it looks like the BH01 is a darker bronze... but the design looks the same.

From the specs on the bottom of the pics, it should fit a Tacoma no problem correct? Does +12 offset change anything? The mr150 I was looking at is 0 offset with 106.25mm center bore it the rest is the same

Pretty sure it was only 2 days, free shipping too!
Not sure if it still works but I also used “straightpipes” as a promo code to get 10% off the order.

Im pretty sure they sponsored TheStraightPipes (youtubers from toronto) for their channel, their wheels look good and seem legit.

I had Blackhorn BH01 wheel installed today with my 265 70r17 KO2’s. I have Bilstein 5100’s with the fronts on position 4 and Firestone airbags in the back to provide a level stance. Very happy with the quality and fit/finish of the wheels.

Looking good! Do you think you could have squeezed fatter tires (275/70/17) with the 5100s and these rims? These rims provide a net -13mm offset compared to stock and with the 5100s it may allow for no rub. Thinking of doing this at least.

I believe I could have went with 275’s and have no rubbing but I already had these 265’s. When they are ready to replace, I will go with 275’s

Thanks for getting back to me! I actually went to the exact same shop to get a quote on tires and rims and they also suggested blackthorn off-road wheels to me which led me here to this thread haha. Great to see another Winnipegger here. Cheers neighbour!

Yeah haha! The owners are super nice. I originally wanted to see how much methods or fuel rims would cost and as a Canadian, it definately sucks at how expensive they are to get them imported. Def interested in meetups! Will keep an eye on the IG page.

Where did you get your 5100s from and installed? Want to fit 275/70r17s but want to get my lift done first. Was thinking of doing myself, but don't have a garage where I can do the install.

Ordered from 4wheelparts.ca. They were a great price but took awhile to get in. Apparently Bilsteins are back ordered a few months now.
