Buyer Beware: KTJO 4X4 Driver's Side Grab Handles w/ A Pillars, HUD, and Bowl Lights

Bending the bracket downward a degree or two with a pair of small channel-lock pliers took a few seconds and allows the bolt to thread in easily.
The aftermarket grab handle matches the interior better than the original passenger side handle that appears to have slightly different colors and textures on this 2019 OffRoad Tacoma that belongs to my father-in-law. The truck has less than 5,000 miles and is always parked in a garage.

Nicest one I've seen, yet. You seem to have the Golden Unicorn. Congrats!!!

All of the others I've seen, including mine, seem to have fitment issues with the covers and or gouges/scratches in the plastic. Mine is close - lower cover is off just slightly and the handle has a small gouge - things that QC should have identified. Not what one would expect for the price. Still, I'm happy with the functionality and look.

Oh, look what FedEx delivered yesterday after over a year of waiting. Box wasn't too damaged. Glad I paid for the upgraded ransom. Everything looks pretty good. But, that does not excuse Katie's behavior AFTER she received her shipment from China.

For several months I was one who defended you because it was my belief that you were at the mercy of the development process and Covid delays. But, the lack of responding to customer emails and demand of shipping charges afterwards from your initial investors is unacceptable for a business of any size. Also, in the beginning I sent in a $25 rebate form. I never received it and figured you would send it later in the process. After you received the handles, I emailed you several times. You blew me and many others off. The only email I got from you was saying that I owe shipping charges, even though my receipt doesn't say anything about shipping. After I paid the shipping (ransom), you then tell me the only way to receive the rebate is to prove you sent it to me. This is not how a business owner treats a customer!!
In the middle of December, you advertised the receipt of the handles. Instead of fulfilling your orders in the order of receipt, which you advertised on your website, you sent a large number of them to a vender and filled new orders. You screwed several hundred of us that pre-ordered a year ago. You must be the only one in the world that doesn't know the business rule of first in, first out. Also, many of the first handles you sent out were not correct or damaged. Being a side or small business is NO excuse.
For many years, I worked for a man that developed a product that he had manufactured in an Asian country, shipped to the US, and sold thru out the world. It was a complex machine with mostly plastic parts. When a full shipping container arrived, the first thing that was done was quality control. Each product had to be unpacked from its retail box and fully inspected and tested. This was a several hour process for each one. About 1/3 of them had to be repaired or fully rejected. Yes, we sometimes had to throw away a product that retailed for about $1k. This is how that the development and manufacture process works.
I pray that you learn from this experience and change how you operate your business. You have lost my support and business.

 

Base on what? I am obviously missing something here.

 

Don't know for sure but KTJO 4X4 was banned by the mods so anyone who registers and puts themselves out as a company rep seems to me to be ripe for being banned, as well.

It would be cool if there was a sticky thread that basically said "this isn't an endorsement or condemnation of any business, but here is a list of vendors that are banned from TW, here is why they are not welcome here, and here is the link to the thread of disenfranchised customers."

That way, any guy that creates a first post about "thinking about getting this product, any feedback?". Boom. Quick and easy link to that sticky.
