Salaried here..... sad part is extra time off just means more work when I come back, so more hours to catch up. Diminishing returns.

What do you mean by buying time off work? That’s something I’ve never heard of. Granted I get 20 days off a year plus holidays but I’m just curious.

Same here. My company has unlimited PTO. However I still avoid taking time off... work hard to get ahead, before the PTO, then work like mad to get caught up, after PTO. My work doesn't go away when I'm not there, it just sits there waiting (impatiently) for me.

I take time off, but it has to be worth it...

With my current time at work, I think I get 25 PTO days. I have the ability to purchase three weeks(15 days) which is spread out over my paychecks. For the ease of simple math, let’s just say 20 per hour is the rate of pay.

$20 x 120 = $2400 / 26 (paychecks) = $92.31 comes out of each paycheck. And I get three weeks in case I need it. If I don’t use it, I get cashed out at the end of the year. I know I will use it all though.

The concept of "buying PTO" is new to me, too. Is that a regional thing?

National company. Definitely a first for me. I used to work in much smaller companies back east.

Thank you to all the member here that gained and shared the knowledge of how to get this think installed! I was able to install my handle in about 15 minutes today.
Used some tape to keep the u-nut from wobbling around. I also had the issue with the metal sleeve in the handle that didn't fit in it's hole and kept falling out, a little tape around that to keep it in place.
I put in the main trim piece, then had to give the handle and trim some pretty good pressure to bend it to the point where the top bolt would go in. After the top bolt was in 3-4 turns, went to work on the bottom bolt. Had to give it some pressure, and jiggle it around a bit, but eventually got the bolt in. Took turns tightening the top and bottom bolts 3-4 turns until it was pretty snug.

OEM? uuuuhhm, sorta, but not in a good way? Comparing it to the right side, the fitment isn't as good, but it's actually not a lot worse. I used a razor blade and some sandpaper to finish the edge of the covers. There are irregular gaps around the covers and between the handle and the A-pillar trim. The A-pillar trim does fit well against the weather stripping. I Haven't spent much time in the passenger seat, so wasn't aware of how lame the OEM part fits. The gaps on the OEM part aren't a whole lot better. The texture of the new part is a pretty good match. The color is not a match, seems just a tiny bit lighter, but it's close enough.

Plug and Play? Oh, pu-leeeease. The only reason I was able to do this so quickly was because of the hours spent by others here figuring it out, thanks again.

Got mine in and went ahead and did the bowl lights too. I just can't quit KTJO. Good stuff once you get it. Now have handle, bowl lights and tailgate lock. All work great.

USPS delivered today, JUST before 5:0. The carton was worse for wear, but the area was one of the leader pins that goes behind the tweeter cover and didn't show any signs of shipping damage. The hardware seems in order. I pre-pinched the spring section of the clip to help hold in position. But the handle has pitting and blemishing by the upper cover. Right in the line of sight. I will try to get ahold of Brian, and see about getting a replacement handle.

Brian should get you taken care of. He responded pretty quickly to me letting me know I'd receive exchange information shortly. I didn't get any more information, but he responded next day (today) that a replacement is boxed and ready to go out. :fingerscrossed:

Interesting, do the 3 weeks of PTO get banked right away in week 1 or is pro rated over a period of time?

I just got all of my PTO for the year as of January first. My company has been making big changes. The opportunity to have 42 days off a year makes me wanna stick it out and see how things progress. Old timers got the short end of the stick, after 15 or 20 years, they can only buy one week but they get more PTO days for tenure. Most are bitching because they’ve banked tons of time and have to exhaust it by 2023 or lose it. Something to think about, I bought my time at my 2020 rate of pay. When/if I sell it at the end of the year, I sell it for my pay as of that time. I usually get the highest raise in my dept so I could come out ahead. But I will gladly use every hour. :)

35 minutes start to finish. That includes looking up and reading the instructions. I ended up tweaking on the upper mount a little bit, but it didn’t seem to be a whole lot so I just went for it. I give it an 8/10. But looking at the passenger side, I only give that a 9/10.

    I give the whole order/wait/receive a 2/10. It gets a 2 because I did receive the product.
