Busy night around here

 

Cold seems to shrink their personal bubbles. Been observing them. Dog touching Pearl unheard of.

 

Catching the morning sun makes a cat sleepy.

 

My little buddy......7 months old now.



And my poor wife can't sit down anywhere without being made into a bed.

Ollie cares not for my morning coffee, I think he wants the chair back.

 

He's looking at you like my Squeak used to look at me. My wife called her my girlfriend and said she adored me.

 

I was looking for a picture of Squeak, who passed about two years ago, when I found these. I was in a rented condo as we were beginning to move from MI to VA for my work. This is the morning after the second night in the condo, which had a wood burning fire place. I had (not enough) boxes in front of it that I had brought back when I brought her and Sampson down. Guess where she decided to sleep.

Yep. 8 pounds of cat, 2 pounds of hair.

 

The wife is definitely jealous. Even though his brother cuddles with her mostly.
Squeak was gorgeous!

 

She was a great cat and we bonded immediately. Smart (when she wanted to be), cute, playful, and loved to be held. I used to cradle her in my right arm across my chest and stroke her back. I think it was a mutually beneficial relationship.

One more and I'll stop. It took us about 20 minutes to find her.

 

That’s how these two are. Instant bond and they’re already bonded brothers so it’s a lot of fun to watch them interact and play. Both instantly loved the wife and I and slept with us the first night and have since. Only cat I’ve known to walk around the house as soon as they are introduced like they’ve been here before and own the place (they do). It was much needed after losing our last kitten at 5 months. Like you said it’s been a very beneficial relationship with all of us.

 

We do have 4 other cats but Bo is my boy. The other ones are great but Bo hangs with me

 

Two of them are the stepdaughters. She moved back in awhile back but hopefully finding another place soon. Five cats is alot to have in a house

 

Yes, it is. We maxed out at 4. Now 3 since Auggie passed.

My daughter has asked me a few times if we could get another but I’ve firmly declined.

3 of these orange lovable assholes are enough.

 

Once the stepdaughter moves back out I'm fine with 3 cats. It's just crazy sometimes when they get to flying around
