    A thing or two...
I have no idea what the poll options mean, but I eat breakfast everyday shortly after I get up. Usually, coffee, yogurt, assorted fruit, and a frozen sausage biscuit.

On the flying discussion, I fly for work, but 2020 put a stop to it for about 4 months. Knock on wood, I haven't run into any issues, but I make sure I have at least an hour at layovers. I travel every month or two for a week or two at a time.

The "green teddy bear with rabbit ears and a robe" I mentioned my wife was working on.

She still needs to do some modeling on the face but I think it's looking fantastic. Especially with this only being the 4th thing she's crocheted!

Thought I might have found a comfortable enough to set alarm and doze for a few hours but every 5 minutes announcements....the CDC recommends blah, blah, blah,...big sigh. I think if were able to snooze then I wouldn't walk upright for the next 3 weeks. Could go to my car....oh boy20210109_112256.jpg

I think we all know just what a pain in the butt electrical problems are on a simple truck.

I can only think trouble shooting on a air plane has to be a nightmare.

I would be telling a lie if I thought this would not play out this way.

No wonder I pass on flying anymore.

Yeah, I just think of my purpose and mission. It's not so bad. You all know, or could relate I'm sure. By flying I'll still get the same amount of visit with family and then have a few day to decompress at home before returning to the everyday grind of work.

    The results are in!
The scout took 1st place in his den, and 1st place overall in his entire pack. He also set the track record for the event! If that wasn’t enough, he was voted “best craftsmanship” as well.

his younger brother won 1st in the siblings category. Although, that wasn’t too difficult since there was only 1 other competitor.
And my wife’s pie car took 2nd place to my 1st place car in the adults category!
You can say that we cleaned up pretty good. I think next year my wife and I will share a car to keep the dirty looks down. :anonymous:

Thank you! I felt a little guilty that we won so many, but in the same breath we put the effort in. And yes, I had my son work on every aspect of his. I even had to show a parent these pics to make sure they knew that he was present and learning/bonding with dad during this. And that’s what the event and scouts is about.

Oh yeah, and I made him a breakfast of champions this morning, so that probably had something to do with it! :D
