I told myself I wasn't going to follow the masses and put a Pro grill on my truck, but the more I see these in person as well as in pictures online, I'm liking it more and more. Should I keep my grill I have on now, or swap it for the Pro grill? With the little tri-color emblem of course too.

I like the grill on there now. Where did you get the tri color emblem?

I think the Pro grills look better on dark colored trucks like yours and mine. That's just my opinion though.

Well i think here in Hawaii there are more Xrunners on this island then the rest of the states combined so to be different is hard to do.

I personally like the shiny Toyota emblem, makes it more classy matches the headlights and my polished rims.

To add some subtle but tasteful mod to the front, I cut the fins in the grill, mounted the required from plates on the side , yellow led fogs rather then just yellow lens. Also the more obvious added an oil cooler, and a tow hook to be unique. But later people will copy, as long as I was the first have it lol

But like the op, I don’t like copying others. Maybe if there wasn’t as many trucks in my area with that same mod then maybe I’ll consider it.

Another example is eyelids, black housing, retro fit headlights... ah I just keep mine stock lol7624107D-2FCF-452F-A9E7-195F92534D6C.jpg

I put on the Pro grille back in 2015 when it was considered rare. Now with all the knock-offs and 95% of 3rd Gens with’em, I wanna change it back to the OEM lol.
