Tires are typically measured freestanding with no weight on it. If the 37" KO2 compresses down to 35" when loaded, that just means it has a soft sidewall. If you install this tire though, you'll still need to clearance for a 37".

You can get an estimate of the tire's loaded height by the "revs per mile" spec published by most tire mfrs. The 37x12.5-17 KO2 is listed at 569 revs/mile. A mile has 63360 inches: 63360 / 569 / 3.14 = 35.5" loaded height.

    Eugene's 315/75R16 A/T G015 is listed at 602 revs/mile. 63360 / 602 / 3.14 = 33.5" loaded. The 34.5" figure is the tire unloaded: https://tire.yokohama.ca/tires/geolandar-a-t-g015

Planning in advance, well done. I also bought 2 extra 32" duratracs, one as spare and another one to replace a worn out one.

I have another tire on order from tirecraft. They aren't making them till end of January. And I was told to expect it mid February. $305 plus tax.... cheap for peace of mind on 1700 kilometers of harsh gravel road

Even with vaccines, the spread may last past the summer, and first nation's may keep the Lockdown until all settles for good.

    Its all a guess though

I was thinking the same, either that or go up to Manitoba or maritimes if they reopen.

We did Newfoundland and labrador in 2019. Had a great time. Wife wants to go to manitoba and see the polar bears and the worlds largest population of garter snakes...

Nice job, I find the pop-up tents one of the most efficient designs for overloading.

15 years ago while in Europe, I use to check these designs

Anyone interested in 4 wheel spacers? They are not hub centric. I believe they are 2 inch wide but might be 1.5 inch. They can be had for a donation to @tacoma16 and his worthy cause. I acquired them when I bought used wheels for my snow tires. I havent installed them. They do not include lug nuts.

I believe you are correct. air or train and I assume boat? I know my wife looked into it and said we couldn't drive. But I have 4x4 and new tires so I'm feeling confident that I can make it lmao

I have a hard time trusting the manufactures rating. Hell there are some tires that measure 13.5” wide but run 10”. So many variables.

have a lot of research, and I understand that clearancing for a 37 will have to be done. However from what I have researched, the ko2 requires significantly less compared to other brands.

Yep, surprised to find them in stock at a Mississauga-based retailer. Shipping was $13.50 by UPS next-day. You can also do curbside pick-up. I got them earlier this week but waited until today for temps to go above freezing (snapping interior plastic and all).
