So I cut the cab mount some more tonight and I didn’t want to change the fender flare line. So I cut the wheel well side off to expose the fender. Cut vertical lines and folded them up. Sprayed black paint after. Should be good now. Was only hitting the in inside 1/4 of the flare. Hitting old gap house rd in the morning with a 4runner and 2 Jeep’s.

So much better! I broke a few clips taking them off. Already have the upper portion trimmed up to reattach. Just need to order a few clips.

Should have told you to cut the upper portion while everything was still attached. I made the same mistake as you.

Honestly, it was so much easier to cut properly with it off the car. I tried that initially on the driver's side.

Ugh can’t make up my mind... 255/80r17 or 285/70r17 :annoyed:

    What’s everyone’s opinion on a 17x7 wheel?

Are you welding spindles brought/sent to you or are you able to do a core system like GlorifiedWelder does? I have a friend who can weld mine but a core deal would be easier.

I’m a fan of skinnies, has 255/75 on my Tacoma and planned to do 255/80 for my GX, BUT after looking at a lot of pictures, I think the GX looks much better with wider tires so I’ll be buying 285/70/17 whenever my wheels finally get delivered.

more tire choices in more load ranges. Not that it matters. I can’t tell a difference between my current D load and prior E loads. Shit rides the same IMO.

    That’s a great point in case I have a flat. Ok so a C rated or E? KO2s come in C.

How much off-roading do you do? Any towing? C should be fine unless you do a lot of off-roading and/or towing.
